Our neighbor's cats like to poop in our garlic bed (recipients of said garlic next summer - consider yourself warned).

Every morning, Porter, our lab, makes her way through the bed looking for tasty, little tootsie rolls, trampling the garlic stems as she goes.

Such is life of the dog owning gardener - and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Shooter came inside this evening trying to smuggle in an entire tomato in his mouth. He was even giving me the side glance like he was saying, "What tomato?"

I can relate.

I watched my dog pick a green tomato off the vine. Then she poo'ed (quite violently) a habierno that she must have eaten before.

I will be building a better fence.
