I have never really listened to the Minutemen, but would still agree that Double Nickels on the Dime was one of the greatest punk rock records in American history. Xeni Jardin, who was probably listening to them the same time we were hanging in the street outside of Rockitz together in the late 1980s, tips her hat to the Minutemen on the 25th anniversary of their earth-shattering release.
