Early Spring Gardening

The faintest shade of green is covering our garden as radish, carrot, spinach and pea (above) shoots begin to poke their way through the dark soil. Our broccoli and brussels sprouts seem to be doing well, especially now that Rilo is unable to get into the garden and devour them.

I am such a novice. I see seedlings in my garden, and I can't tell if they are weeds or stuff coming back from last year plantings.
