I'll be one of a number of featured speakers at a four-day career boot camp organized by the Virginia Career Network and St. Michael's Catholic Church's Jobs Assistance Ministry this week.
Organizers are expecting close to 100 participants for the four half-day sessions (registration for the event is now closed).
I'll apparently be kicking things off on Tuesday with a discussion focused on helping people align their time and energy with their passions and values -- especially as these things relate to an ongoing career transition or job search. Other presenters include my Next Steps' partner Eleanor Rouse.
How did this boot camp go? How many people attended? We're thinking about putting one of these on in the Bay Area and are interested in learning how others did them, what kind of response they got, etc. Thanks for any info.
