The Huffington Post featured an amazing stop-motion paper animation film chronicling the rise of one of the Southeast's fastest growing cities. The film by Rob Carter provides a fantastic examination of the growth of one urban landscape. It's particularly interesting that the focus is Charlotte, which is often described as Richmond's nemesis.
Carter's work in general is pretty amazing stuff. Go check out his Charlotte paperography here. The last three minutes of the ten minute video is below, if you have a short attention span.
