There are a few things I love about this TV-6 clip from former print reporter Mark Holmberg (I wonder how long he'll carry that tag?):
- He's wearing jeans. His shirt tail is hanging out. He's sporting his shaggy mane.
- The City of Richmond's Department of Parks and Recreation is moving ahead with some great projects.
- The Director of Parks and Rec -- J.R. Pope -- is all about combining low-key and transformation.
The piece focuses on $3 million in work happening at city parks, many of which have been long overdue for a face lift. Thanks for the update, Slim.
