If you enjoyed the dozen or so farmers' markets scattered throughout the Richmond region last year, you're going to be overwhelmed in 2009 as another cluster of markets opens up in the immediate Richmond area.
The Market Umbrella, a for-profit venture that made its mark last year with the hugely popular South of the James Market, is adding three new venues to its market melange this year -- including a First Friday's Market at Quirk Gallery on Broad Street, the Market Emporium at Bryan Park in Northside Richmond, and the Market Umbrella at Crossroads (near Staples Mill and Broad Street).
