Scalin, Jump Featured in Latest skirt!

Skirt0105

Although they've never asked me to pose in a skirt or a kilt or a sarong, the folks behind skirt! magazine periodically win me over with their massive photo profiles -- by which I mean they fill a page with a photograph of an interesting person (quite often decked out in a skirt of some fashion) and toss in about two sentences of copy. Sort of the opposite of my go-to move.

If I could somehow find them in the morass that is skirt!'s website, I'd direct you to this month's eye-catching photo of Noah Scalin -- local designer, arts activist and undoubtedly a candidate for Sassy magazine's "Sassiest Guy in America" contest -- or the photo of the women behind the very awesome Jump Because website. You can read our interview with the Jump Because crowd here.

Instead, you'll have to go find yourself a printed copy of the January issue of skirt! in one of the garish green news boxes around town.
