The Downtown Plan: Envision Richmond Workshop

With Richmond's Downtown Master Plan heading to City Council for a final vote on Monday, October 13, the Envision Richmond campaign's seminar on the plan is nothing but timely.

The seminar will feature a presentation and Q&A with John Taylor, a senior planner with the city's Department of Community Development -- which has been spearheading the downtown planning process. John Taylor's presentation will be followed by a brief workshop on leveraging constituency power presented by Richard Taylor of the Virginia Housing Development Authority.

It's all happening this Tuesday, October 7, in the private dining room of the downtown Capital Ale House at 623 East Main Street. The evening begins with a little elbow rubbing at 5:30 p.m. and John Taylor's presentation at 6:00 p.m.

Envision Richmond is supported by Partnership for Smarter Growth, Back Porch Initiatives, Scenic Virginia, ACORN, Coalition for Smarter Growth and the Richmond Association of Realtors.
