Buttermilk Break

The baby arrived unexpectedly last Friday, so updates here will be a bit less frequent. Plug Buttermilk & Molasses' address into your RSS feed or loiter at RVA Blogs so you don't miss out on the latest posts (which will appear just below this one for a while).

When the baby's napping and you have a few free seconds, I was wondering if you might lend a typing hand to help us help the 17th Street Farmers Market. For the whole (but brief) story, please read our petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/17thst/ If you find you agree with us (or just don't object strongly), we'd be much obliged if you would post the petition to your blog. Welcome to a life of feces removal...
Happy Birth Day
I always received excellent service at Ukrops, something I don't expect from Kroger. For Dominion Place residents there is no punchline.
That was funny. Of course, the real punchline is that Ukrop's never invested in the space or the staff in a way that would ensure the store would be successful. One-way streets. Two-way streets. Truth be told, people would travel down six-way streets to shop at or dine with a business that has a strong brand, a great aesthetic, awesome products and good service.
ok, that was funny.
Congrats! Our 10 month is a joy everyday... Enjoy the first moments... They are spectacular... Now.... for the joke of the day... Q: Why did Ukrops on Grace Street close? A: It was surrounded by two way streets...
